I’m excited to share some spring mantel decor with you!
Spring has sprung! We are officially a week into Spring and in Dallas the weather has swung from 90 to 5o, sunny to pouring rain to golf ball sized hail last night! Lots of broken windows and windshields in my neighborhood….gotta love Texas weather! We definitely took full advantage of those sunny days, and it made me SO ready for the warm summer months to come! Bring on the heat!
I was at the Habitat for Humanity Restore a few weeks ago and picked up this little arrow (for 47 cents!) I wanted to make a little spring themed sign for my mantel using my Silhouette….any DIY sign from me was made with a Silhouette, my handwriting is nothing to write home about…pun intended…..Anyway, I decided on Crisp Carrots. Cheesy, yes, but it made me giggle, and I do love a good theme.
Once I made this sign I feel like I started seeing carrot décor everywhere! I like to change my mantel décor for holidays/seasons, so until Easter, Crisp Carrot Company is in full effect! When my boys are older they will probably eye roll a bit at my holiday décor, but I also hope that deep down they will appreciate that I tried to make our home fun and festive for them! That’s what I’m going to keep telling myself!
This banner is from Kirklands. They typically have cute new banners for every holiday!
This little table sits in a corner on the way to our bedroom and needed to be sprinkled with some carrots as well!
I love the vibrant green of this boxwood wreath!
