Mini S’mores Pies

November 2, 2017

S’mores are always nostalgic for me, and these mini s’mores pies do the trick when there is not a campfire handy!

If you are looking for a super easy, yummy dessert that your kids can even help you make, this is it!

I don’t usually make dessert unless we have company or it’s a holiday, mainly because most of it goes to waste!  Our family of four just can’t seem to polish off a cake or pie on our own, but these little mini pies are just right!  I also share how to easily make just one or enough to serve a crowd!

Perfect for dessert or an after school treat!

Smores Pies Ingredients:

Mini graham cracker crust pie shells (usually come in packs of 6 like these)

If you are making for a crowd, get a box of chocolate pudding.

If you are only making a few, buy the individual pre-made pudding cups

Marshmallows

Hershey chocolate bar

Directions:

Preheat oven to BROIL setting.  If you are making the boxed pudding, follow box directions.  If not, one individual pudding cup fits almost perfectly into these little shells!

Spoon pudding into pie shell and top with marshmallows.

Place on cookie sheet and place in oven for 1-2 minutes or until tops of marshmallows are slightly brown and toasty!

Watch them, it really does not take long.  I burnt my first batch to a crisp because I walked away!  Place some chocolate on top while marshmallows are still hot, so it can get melt a little!

That’s it!  The pudding cup method seriously makes this about a 5 minute process start to finish!  And you mamas know that if your littles are helping, sometimes that’s just long enough!  These smores pies were so yummy, and I loved the way they made my house smell!

Your crew will definitely be asking for s’more!
