I hope you LOVE your Crisp Cringle elf kit! These are the instructions for the 12 day Northpole favorites kit!
You can order yours HERE.
It was nostalgic, and so fun to put this together with 12 favorite days from our last five years of kits. This kit is intended to use any time in the month of December when you could use a little elf assistance! The order of the days are a suggestion and meant to help keep the kit organized, but feel free to switch them around as you please!
We hope you will follow along as we “elf” together on Instagram @crispcollectiveig HERE. I look forward to doing this tradition together all year! Thank you for letting us help create a bit of Christmas magic for your family! If you have any questions or issues, don’t hesitate to reach out via Etsy or email info@crispcollective.org.
Day 1: Arrival Day
Supplies: Hot air balloon
Up , up and away card and welcome letter-found in the Bag marked “Days 1-6”
Instructions:
Follow package instructions to assemble your hot air balloon. Tie string or a ribbon to the hook at the top of the balloon. Hang the balloon somewhere in your home.
Place your elf in the hot air balloon basket with the up, up and away card. Address the welcome letter to your kid(s) and sign it from your elf!
DO NOT put the shoes on your elf yet! They are part of Day 2!
Day 2: Shoes Clues Scavenger Hunt!
Supplies: The Help! card, Clue 1, 2 and 3 cards, and the high top sneakers- all from the Bag marked “Days 1-7”
Instructions: Place your elf’s legs in a pair of shoes- your child’s or yours! Boots, sneakers…whatever they will think is funny!
Place the Help! card next to your elf and clue 1 close by.
Hide Clue 2 somewhere in the bathroom. Tape it to the toilet, mirror, or put it on the toilet paper roll. You can make this as easy or as difficult as you’d like for your child to find.
Place Clue 3 in a bedroom or somewhere where there is a bed.
Place your elf’s new shoes wherever you store silverware. Place the shoes close to your elf so he can arrive wearing them Day 3. If you ordered for more than one elf, each elf has it’s own shoes. Your kit should include both white and green sneakers.
Day 3: Oh Dear Ornament

Supplies: Ornament, card
Instructions: Place your card, ornament and elf on the tree or set it somewhere for your child to hang the ornament themselves!
Day 4: Eyes to the Skies
Supplies: Eye stickers, eyes to the skies card- located in the bag labeled, “Days 1-6”
Instructions: Write the number of days left until Christmas on your card. Place your eyeball stickers on items in your fridge and place the card by your elf.
You could also place these eyeball stickers on family photos, toys in your child’s room…whatever will get a smile!
Day 5: Claus Campout
Supplies: Sleeping bag, flameless candle, toothpick, marshmallows (optional/not in the box), Camp Claus card
Instructions: Place marshmallows on your toothpick (optional) and set it near the battery operated “campfire”. Your elf can either be roasting marshmallows or snoozing in their sleeping bag.
Day 6: Old McSanta
Supplies: Old McSanta card, wooden easel, farm animal capsules-loose in your box
Instructions: Place card on the easel, set our magic pills. Follow the instructions on the package, dropping the pills into water to see them become McSanta’s farm friends!
Day 7: I Brought You Back a Snowman
Supplies: Snowman card, easel, snowman parts Note: Snowman parts may vary slightly
Instructions: Grab a small ramekin or bowl. Fill with water and place your snowman parts inside. Place snowman card on the easel.
Day 8: Pin the Nose

Supplies: Blindfold, “pin the nose” card, wooden easel
Instructions: Tie the blindfold to cover your elf’s eyes. Place the card on the easel.
Day 9: Whoopee

Supplies: Mini whoopee cushion, card
Instructions: Air the whoopee cushion up with the straw. Write the number of days until Christmas on the card. Place the cushion under the card and place it on a chair or somewhere someone might sit.

Place your elf nearby and let the fun begin! If your kids use the whoopee cushion on repeat….sorry, not sorry!
Day 10: Underwear

Supplies: Underwear card, mini clothespin, underwear-yours, your kids’, whatever they will find funny!
Instructions: Grab underwear for your elf to “borrow”. I used a hanger here and hung underwear around our kitchen, clipping the card to our elf. You would also have the underwear hanging from a ceiling fan, all over your Christmas tree, in the fridge…wherever your kids will get the most laughs!
Day 11: Blitzen’s Bowl-a-rama
Supplies: Card, bowling ball, pins
Instructions: Place the card on the easel, set up your bowling pins and let your kids play the game!
Day 12: Arrrrgh You Ready?

Supplies: Card, Pirate mask, coins
Instructions: I put my elf in a cabinet and used one of the extra cards to write a big X…like X marks the spot! I put some coins leading to it with the elf wearing the pirate mask inside!
BONUS:
This one is optional, but for our family, while we LOVE all the fun and festivities, JESUS is the reason for the season. Place this card open to the story of Jesus’s birth in the Bible or near a nativity scene. I usually do this set up AND the goodbye letter above for Christmas day.
USE ANYTIME BAG
These Claus Pause cards are not assigned to any specific day. They are just a fun way to leave your child individual notes throughout the month! There should be two per kid.
Should you forget to move your elf. (it happens to ALL of us!!) this card is for you! Set this card out to explain why he did not move. You can use it the next day or sneakily set it out later in the day, since the card claims he flew home quick to explain!
You will also find blank cards to use as you please should you want to add a personal note to any of the days!
I cannot thank you enough for “elfing” with us this year! My hope is that this kit helped bring JOY to your family and took some stress off of you in an already stressful season! Thank you for letting us play a small part in your family’s Christmas magic!
