Cinnamon Stick Pumpkin DIY

September 21, 2020

Sharing a simple cinnamon stick pumpkin diy with you today!

A couple of years ago I bought a ton of these fabric pumpkins from the Target Dollar Spot for $1 each.

I love them…all except the plastic stem!  Target is carrying them this year as well, but the stem is gold, which is much cuter!  I decided to make a little improvment to make them prettier…and BONUS, they smell good!  This could work if you have these same pumpkins or any small pumpkins you’ve purchased where the stem can be removed!

Supplies:

Pumpkins

Cinnamon Sticks-I found this bag of them at Hobbly Lobby HERE

A Fall stem with leaves, a used this one

Hot glue gun and glue

Directions:

Pull the plastic stem out.

Break the cinnamon stick into halves or thirds and insert it into the hole where the original stem was.

Hot glue one to two leaves around the new stem.

Super simple, took about 20 minutes and now this dough bowl of pumpkins just makes me smile!

The dough bowl is from Decor Steals, so they don’t carry it all the time, but you can find similar ones HERE and HERE.

Be sure to check out more affordable fall home decor HERE.
