Happy September! I know many of you are not ready to bust out the pumpkins just yet, BUT some sweet friends and I have put together a Fall Tabletop Blog Hop (say that 5x fast) to provide ideas and inspiration for whenever the fall feels finally hit ya!
If you hopped over from Jackie’s blog and are visiting for the first time, welcome! My name is Bethany, and I live in a Dallas ‘burb with my hubby and our two rowdy boys (5 and 2). I use this little space to share cozy, casual décor, recipes, and adventures with my sweet family! I LOVE that you are here!
This table is rarely all set like this, but it was such a fun, creative challenge to dress her up for Fall! So many ideas on the tour are perfect for everyday decorating, fall baby or bridal showers, parties, or if you host Thanksgiving. It may seem crazy to think about that now, but if your family is like ours, this time of year is SO busy, and seems to fly!
Fall is my very favorite season! I love sweater weather, football season, the state fair, visiting our local pumpkin patch, hayrides, the changing leaves, and all the excitement this season brings! SO, let me grab you a coffee, a slice of pumpkin pound cake, and let’s get to it!
How ’bout them apples? The last time I showed my dining room here it was covered in peaches…
What can I say? I like décor I can eat!
The color of these granny smith apples just makes me smile! There are no live pumpkins to be found this early, so the white and green pumpkins are faux. I may replace them with the real deal in a few weeks!
I used the denim pockets of old jeans that, possibly due to the consumption of too many pumpkin spice lattes, no longer fit or are just out of style, and made these little holders for my napkins. These pockets could also hold flatware or a menu and would be fun for a barbeque or more casual party….we definitely err on the more casual side of things at our house!
I also used some of my boys’ old jeans they had outgrown to make some little denim pumpkins!
The wood slices came from a local family that has property in Oklahoma. Their garage was full of different sizes they had cut from their trees and had listed for sale on a community page. I loved playing with the different heights and the character of each one….all unique, imperfect and different, unlike the engineered ones I have purchased from stores in the past.
This table also sits in my dining room and got a little makeover to coordinate with the tabletop!
This tray is one of my favorites and the combo of wood, whites and green apples make me SO ready for fall!
I have slowly been updating this room and was SO excited to replace my super dated fixture with this beaded one!
I love the wood beads and the shape of it! Just a few more touches, and I’ll be ready to show you some before and afters of how much this room has changed the last few months!
Cozy, casual and ready for fall!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Be sure to head over to Dara’s blog next for some major inspiration!
All these ladies are SO talented and inspiring, and I am humbled to be included in this group!
