No matter which teams are playing, I am always team SNACKS!
This post was sponsored by Walmart, but all items were purchased and selected by me and all opinions are my own.
With the biggest game of the year this weekend, I put together some fun, simple food ideas that are perfect to take to a party or feed your crew at home! I ordered groceries using my Walmart+ membership and had them delivered to my door, the same day! ($35 minimum, some restrictions apply) I have shared this membership many times because it is truly something I use every week. It has saved me so much time and money! I tend to order a lot of the same items every week, so I love that it saves my previous orders so I can just adjust my cart as needed. I stick to my weekly list (no impulse buys!) and the prices are the same low prices as in-store, no mark ups on items like some other delivery services! The convenience of our groceries being delivered to our door is worth every penny! If you don’t have a membership, you can sign up for a free 30 day trail membership HERE.
Football Pizza
Simple and kid-friendly!
You will need:
Marketside Pepperoni Pizza HERE
Extra pepperoni
A block of white cheese- I used extra sharp white cheddar
Take your pizza out of the packaging and arrange the existing pepperoni in the shape of a football. Add your extra pepperoni. Cook according to the package instructions.
Cut your white cheese into strips to look like the laces on your football. Put the pizza back in the oven for 1-2 minutes to slightly melt your cheese. Keep an eye on it! If you leave it in too long all the cheese will run together to form a giant blob! Cut and serve hot!
Football Brownies
You will need:
Bakery brownie bites HERE
White icing in a tube-I used this one!
Take your brownies out of the package and place them on a plate or serving platter. Use the icing to draw laces so that each brownie looks like a football!
Football Snack Tray
You will need:
Hormel Gatherings Tray HERE
1-2 cucumbers
A block of white cheese- You may have some left over from your pizza above!
I bought this tray years ago and have used it SO many times for serving food and in my home as decor.
Find it HERE.
To make your football, start with a sleeve of crackers down the center of your tray. Then add the hard salami on either side, then cheese, then pepperoni, then cheese again, tapering the sides to make the shape of a football. Cut your white cheese in strips to create the laces for your football. Slice your cucumber and arrange the slices around your football on the tray.
You will have crackers, cheese and meat left over so you can replenish your tray as it gets eaten throughout the game!
Veggies and Dips
You will need:
Veggie tray HERE
Rolls-I used these
Pretzels (optional)
Chives
Dips of your choice- I used the ranch from the veggie tray, buffalo chicken dip HERE and hummus HERE
Cut your rolls in the shape of a football and hollow out the bread to make a bowl. Add dips and cut chives to make your laces. Arrange veggies and pretzels around your dips on your tray.
Fruit Cups
You will need:
Fruit tray HERE
Cups or bowls
I found this tiered tray for just $16 that I thought was so cute! The wooden trays are also removeable so you can use them by themselves!
Find it HERE.
I filled my cups with an assortment of fruit and added them to my tray. Such an easy snack!
