School’s out, and summer is here!!

I absolutely love this time of year where our schedules are a little slower, and we can enjoy time outside together! We headed to Walmart to grab some summer essentials for backyard fun!    

Pool Floats

Our neighborhood pool is at the end of our street, and you can find us there often, float (or water gun!) in hand!

The boys loved these ride on shark floats from Walmart.  They also had a ride on unicorn if that’s more your speed, and I was pleasantly surprised at how big these were for the price!

Rock Painting Kit

We have purchased this rock painting kit several times now, and it keeps Will busy for HOURS (and it’s only $8 right now!)

I recommend painting outdoors and putting down butcher paper or a plastic sheet.  It comes with 20 rocks, paint, glitter glue and stickers, plenty for more than one kid, but it only comes with one set of brushes.  If you are purchasing for more than one child to share, you might want to grab a few extra brushes. 

We like to paint these, write notes or verses on the back and drop them around town!

More Outdoor Fun

I also recently grabbed this bump n’ bounce game for the boys.

They loved running and bouncing off each other!  This is fun for older kids too!

The boys attended an outdoor ed camp the first week of summer break, and it renewed their love for fishing.  They have been asking to go often!

We grabbed them some new poles HERE and they each got a tackle box HERE.

This inflatable kayak was a hit last year for Father’ Day!  It easily holds two people and comes with it’s own bag for easy storage.
