Weekly Recipe Roundup – Week 6

February 17, 2018

I hope your week was full of LOVE as we celebrated Valentine’s Day on Wednesday!  I got to spend the morning with some girlfriends for a Galentine’s get together and then an afternoon playdate led to an ER visit and a couple of staples in my little ones head! Ouch!  We still ended the night with our traditional heart pizzas and movie night, but it was a memorable Valentine’s for sure…and Will was trying to cannonball off the furniture first thing the next morning, so needless to say, he’s feeling alright!  Love hurts, right?

This week’s recipes include some yummy breakfast, an appetizer, a veggie side, and as always, easy weeknight meals! Not intentionally, but it’s a little heavy on the chicken…a little lean protein never hurt, right?!  Just click the picture or link in the text to take you to the full post.

Something New…

I also started putting links to ingredients in each post.  This will serve as a visual to you of exactly what items I am talking about (of course, feel free to choose your preference of brand!) and if you happen to use Walmart grocery pickup…I use it for everything except meat and produce (anything packaged or in a can!)…you can also just add items you need for a recipe directly to your Walmart grocery pickup cart.  I like Walmart pick up because it’s free, fast and easy…and there are locations nationwide since those of you that visit my site are from all over the country! (thank you, by the way!)   I make a trip about once a week to Market Street or Whole Foods and pick up meat, veggies and produce.  That trip now only takes about 20 minutes.  Nothing against the quality of those items at Walmart, I just like to pick them out myself!  I find I spend so much less on groceries because I don’t impulse buy walking around the store or buy things I already have…I can just go check the pantry or fridge when ordering online!  I hope this makes using these recipes even easier to use!  I will slowly be going back to old posts and adding links as well!
