Easy Instant Pot Glazed Ham

February 24, 2018

I was looking for a way to mix up our chicken and beef dinners, and this easy Instant Pot ham did the trick!

This method is so easy, and would be great for a serving a crowd as well….ham is always a favorite at holidays!

Our ham turned out juicy and perfect, and we even had leftovers to make some other dishes later in the week!

Ingredients:

1 ham, spiral cut – For a 6 quart Instant Pot, I would not get bigger than 7 lbs.  The ham we used was almost 5 lbs.

3/4 cup honey

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 can of Dole pineapple tidbits

1 tbsp. whole cloves

2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar

Directions:

Mix honey, brown  sugar, can of pineapple (with juice), cloves and apple cider vinegar in a bowl.

Place steam rack (that comes with your IP) at the bottom of your Instant Pot and place ham on top.

Pour glaze mixture on top.

Seal the lid securely and cook on manual high for 7 minutes.  Quick release. Remove and serve!

If you want a little crisp, you can also place ham on a baking sheet and broil for just a couple minutes after cooking in the IP.

Use the juices from the IP to ladle on top of ham if desired for extra moisture and flavor!

This was an easy, welcome change to our normal weeknight rotation!
