Patio Refresh

May 26, 2020

I’m so excited to share our patio refresh…just in time for summer!

If you remember, I shared this patio plan with you a couple of weeks ago!

The Patio Before:

Here was our patio before!  There was a table with benches out here that were all falling apart, so we kicked them to the curb and started with a clean slate!

Tearing this rotting table apart was strangely therapeutic!  Haha!

Painting and Picking Furniture:

I started this refresh by painting the concrete.

My original plan was to stencil the concrete, but my stencil has been hanging out in Chicago since mid-April due to Covid-19!  So instead, I ended up creating this design using painter’s tape, paint and a lot of patience!

You can find the step by step tutorial for how I painted it HERE.

Once the floor was painted, the next step in our patio refresh was furniture!  I found some great options at Joss and Main!

These black chairs are metal and stackable….and come already assembled!  Adam appreciated that!  You can find them in black and gray HERE.

And these wicker ones are great quality for the ends of the table.  Find them HERE.

We chose THIS table in the weathered gray stain.  It is durable and was easy to assemble.  Find it HERE.

Patio Refresh Reveal:

So here was the before:

and here is the after:

A few plants also helped perk up this space and this bar cart is metal and easily folds up!  Love it!  Find it HERE.

Can’t wait to enjoy some family dinners on our patio before the Texas heat sets in!

This post is sponsored by Joss and Main, but all products were selected by me and opinions are my own.
