Slow Cooker Apple Cider

October 26, 2020

Is there anything that screams Fall more than hot apple cider?!

I love this slow cooker method because it makes my entire house smell amazing, and it is perfect for serving a crowd.

This would make a great addition to your Halloween celebrations, Friendsgiving, and Thanksgiving festivities!  You can also add caramel vodka or whiskey to make this an adults only treat!  Just another way to stay warm and toasty this Fall!

Apple Cider Ingredients:

6-8 cups of apple juice

1/4 cup brown sugar

4-6 cinnamon sticks

1 teaspoon whole cloves

1 orange sliced

Optional garnishes:  cinnamon sticks, sliced apples, oranges and cranberries

You can also add caramel vodka or whiskey to make this an adult only treat!

Directions:

Place the apple juice, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, cloves and sliced orange in your slow cooker.  I have THIS ONE and love it!

Cook on high for an hour and a half or low for 3 hours.  Remove the cloves and orange slices before serving.  Garnish with cinnamon sticks, apples, oranges and cranberries if you want!

If your slow cooker has a warm setting, keep it on that while serving.  Have a laddel and mugs available for guests to serve themselves!

I hope this simple slow cooker apple cider will make it’s way to your next party!
