Halloween Donuts

October 26, 2022

Looking for a super easy Halloween treat to make with your little boos?

You’re in the right spot!

We had fun making these spooky spider donuts and added some festive touches to our larger donuts too!

I placed them all on this tray!  It is THE BEST!  I have used it in my decor and for food.  Find it HERE.

Spooky Spiders

We headed to Walmart for all our ingredients and had a blast checking out their Halloween dept.  They had so many fun choices for costumes, food, decorations and party prep!

For our spiders we grabbed:

Mini chocolate donuts

Chocolate icing

Fun sprinkles- We got ours HERE.

Pretzel rounds

Candy eyes- the sprinkles we purchased HERE already had candy eyes mixed in, so we just picked them out.

The ping pong eyeballs HERE and vampire teeth HERE were also from Walmart.

Spooky Spider Directions:

Spread chocolate icing to cover the hole of your donut.  This will act as the glue for your sprinkles and eyes.

Dip the donut, icing side down, into a bowl of sprinkles.

Break your pretzels apart to look like legs and attach four on each side of your donut.

Add the eyes

That’s it!  Spooky and simple.

Add your eyeballs to the center of a few of your larger donuts.

Using a knife, make a horizontal slit at the donut’s hole and place the vampire teeth.  For the larger donuts we used THESE eyes, and we used our same icing to adhere them to the donut.

I also grabbed this Casper sweatshirt!

I am wearing a medium.

Find it HERE.

I hope these fun treats make their way into your Halloween celebrations!
