My boys had “cousin camp” a couple of days this week, so I snuck off for a quick trip to Magnolia Market with some girlfriends!
I met these girls in college when we were all on a dance team together! We were 18 and away from home for the first time…something about all of that bonded us for life! I don’t get to see them all as often as I’d like…there are 14 kids between the five of us… but whatever time we get is a gift!
Even Covid can’t mask that excitement!
So we met in Waco to check out Magnolia! So much of it is under construction right now!
I absolutly love this little wall you see as soon as you enter the Market! The lawn, food trucks and Feed and Seed are currently closed. They are adding new shops, a baseball field and a historic church.
Here is the progress on the church that will include historic elements from the oldest church in Waco that was built in 1894! They relocated parts of the vacant church to the property just behind the Silos, and I can’t wait to see how they restore it! You can read more about the construction going on HERE.
We skipped the bakery line and went straight to the Market!
Always inspiring!
I always love to see their displays that change seasonally!
Even if you don’t purchase anything, it is worth a look just to see all the beautiful staging!
We also had to grab a coffee at Magnolia Press for the road!
This mural is at the back of The Findery, another must-see shop, just across the street from the Silos.
More than anything I was excited about time with these girls, but I will definitely be making a trip back to Magolia soon when these project are complete!
