We love our air fryer for easy meals like these chicken tenders!
Y’all know I am a huge Trader Joe’s fan! When I saw this jalapeno sauce, I knew my hubby would love it! He does…but it is just too hot for the boys and me!
However, I made this veggie dip and mixed it with ranch….half ranch and half jalapeno sauce was just right for a spicy sauce that didn’t set our mouths on fire!
So I started thinking how else we could use this sauce, and came up with these tenders! Not too spicy, but great flavor!
Ingredients:
Non-stick spray
1-2 lbs of thinly sliced chicken tenders
Trader Joe’s jalapeno sauce
Ranch dressing
panko- We grabbed GF for my hubby
Directions:
Spray your air fryer with non stick spray.
Make a mixture of half ranch dressing and half jalapeno sauce. I used 1 cup of each, but feel free to adjust this! More jalapeno sauce for more spice, more ranch for less!
Marinade your chicken tenders in this mixture or if you don’t have time for that, just dip them prior to your panko.
Roll each tender in panko until it is completely covered.
Place in the air fryer and cook 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees. Temp in the center of your chicken should be 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce!
We also used this same method to make chicken nuggets, as well as a few nuggets seasoned with Everything But the Bagel Seasoning….but season lightly! We went a little heavy with the EBTB here! A little goes a long way!!
