I found this Soyaki sauce at Trader Joe’s and used it to make chicken two different ways!
This sauce makes a great marinade for all types of meat, but for this post I am focused on chicken!
Soyaki Slow Cooker Chicken:
Ingredients:
Trader Joe’s Soyaki Sauce
1-2 lbs of chickeb breast
Trader Joe’s Vegetable Fried Rice-prepared per package instructions.
Chopped green onions (chopped)-optional
Slow Cooker liner-Optional, but makes clean up SO much easier! Find them HERE.
Directions:
Line your slow cooker with a slow cooker liner.
Place chicken in the slow cooker and cover with the Soyaki sauce.
Cover with lid and cook 3-4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low.
Cook vegetable fried vice per the package instructions.
Shred chicken in the slow cooker-I’ve been using THIS to shred chicken in the slow cooker! SO good!
Place shredded chicken on top of prepared rice and top with chopped green onions. (optional)
Soyaki Chicken on the Grill:
Ingredients:
Trader Joe’s Soyaki sauce
1-2 lbs of chicken breast
Trader Joe’s Peanut and Crispy Noodle Salad Kit (SO good!) One bag feeds two adults, so grab more than one bag if you are feeding a crowd.
Directions:
Marinade your chicken breast in the Soyaki sauce.
Place on grill and cook until center is 165 degrees fahrenheit.
Open salad kit and place in bowls.
Cut chicken and place it on top of salads.
Both these chicken dishes using Soyaki sauce were easy and had great flavor!
