Summer is in full swing, so I decided to add a few new cute suits and coverups to my closet! 

Trying on swimsuits is never my favorite, BUT I hope that seeing them on a 40 something, non-model body will be helpful in showing you the fit!  For reference, I am 5’5, roughly 135 lbs (depending on that week’s taco consumption), and pear shaped.  All of these suits are from the Time and Tru brand at Walmart and are a size medium.  I loved all the cute color combos and patterns this year!  Swimsuits can sometimes be tough to find the right fit, but if you are in doubt, I do appreciate that Walmart makes returns VERY easy!  Not all the suits I tried on were a win for my body type, but I narrowed down my favorites to share today! 

Blue Colorblock 

I love the colors on this suit, and appreciate that the darker color is on bottom.  The strap is adjustable, cups are sewn in, and it has good booty coverage.  The tie detail at the top is not super functional, just cute.  This also comes in black and pink.  I am wearing a medium.

This coverup is just $11 and comes in lots of color options.  It is one size fits most.  It would also be cute with a tank and shorts.

Orange and Pink Colorblock

The cut and color combo of this suit is so fun!  It has adjustable straps and good booty coverage. I am wearing a medium.

Tropical Paradise

The pattern of this suit just feels like vacation!  The strap is adjustable, cups are sewn in, and the ruching at the tummy is very forgiving.  I am wearing a medium.

Neutral Coverups

I am a sucker for cute coverups!
