These slow cooker BBQ chicken sliders are one of my family’s favorite easy meals!
This method really is SO easy!
The slow cooker does all the work, so it is perfect as we head back into the busyness of the school year!
We roasted brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes tossed with salt, pepper, olive oil and bacon for about 20 minutes at 400 degrees and cooked some baked beans from the deli. Easy sides to make this a full meal!
We put our BBQ chicken on buns and topped some with an easy broccoli slaw (see below) and others with a pickle and mustard. I threw the chicken in the slow cooker last Sunday when I got up, and it was ready by lunch! Doesn’t get much easier than that! And we put it all on this board, just for fun!
BBQ Chicken Ingredients:
1.5-2 lbs of boneless chicken breasts
1 cup of BBQ sauce
1/2 cup Italian dressing
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcester sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
BBQ Chicken Directions:
Season chicken with salt and pepper and place at the bottom of your crockpot.
Mix all other ingredients in a small bowl and stir well.
Pour mixture over chicken. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours.
Shred the chicken in the crockpot using THIS! Of course you can shred it with whatever you’d like, but I usually use this utensil for cooking ground beef and a friend suggested using it to shred my chicken!
Many of you may already have one of these mix n chops , so if you’ve never tried it for this purpose, it is awesome! It also helps to coat all the chicken with the sauce and leaves less mess since it all stays inside the slow cooker.
This chicken is great on a bun or over a salad! Easy and flavorful!
We also use it for other recipes like these Cowboy Quesadillas that can be found HERE.

Broccoli Slaw
For the broccoli slaw, I grabbed this bag in the produce section. There is a recipe on the back, but it has mayo, and that is a no go with my family! So instead, I mixed this bag with 1 cup of apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoons of sugar and the juice from half a lemon, and it was so fresh and tasty! I liked the little bit of crunch on our sandwiches!
I hope these BBQ chicken sliders will make their way into your family’s menu rotation! They are a hit every time!
