Today I’m sharing an easy peach salsa recipe!
A trip to the peach orchard led to the creation of this delicious peach salsa! I have often made a similar version with pineapple, but since we had peaches on hand, I decided to mix it up, and I’m SO glad I did! It just might be the perfect topping for summer!
It is a combination of sweet and spicy and is perfect on top of chicken, fish, or shrimp. You can also just eat it on a chip!
I put it on top of my salmon here…yum!! We also eat a lot of chicken at our house, so I love that this little salsa will give it a different twist.
It would also be great on top of shrimp tacos or on tops of a shrimp or chicken burrito bowl!
Peach Salsa Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups of diced peaches
1/4 cup red onion, diced
2 teaspoons of chopped jalepeno with the seeds removed- You can adjust based on the level of heat you prefer!
1/3 cup cilantro, chopped
1/4 cup lime juice
salt to taste
Directions:
Mix all your washed and chopped ingredients in a bowl. Serve immediately or keep in the fridge until time to serve.
You can easily adjust the amount of ingredients depending on what your prefer!
Sweet, spicy, super easy to make and the perfect addition to your chicken or fish! I hope this peach salsa makes it’s way to your table this summer!
