Happy Labor Day!
I hope you and your family have found time to relax and have fun this weekend! It is always nice to get that extra day to spend together!
Rugs
I added this shag rug to our living room this week, and just love it! SO many rugs from this retailer are 55% off with FREE shipping when you use the code LBD55 at checkout. Act fast though, this is a Labor Day sale that will end soon! You can shop all their rugs here.
Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Baked Tacos
As we are getting into the school year, easy weeknight meals are a MUST! I shared this recipe on Instagram here and in this blog post.
The slow cooker does most of the work, making prep time for this meal about 20 minutes! Easy, fast and SO delicious….you should probably give it a try this week!
A Little Throwback
My ten year old self was almost giddy to purchase one of these this week….
a CABOODLE! Did you have one? I’m pretty sure I had one just for scrunchies and another for Bath and Body works lotions and lip smackers…gotta love the 90’s! Target has brought them back in combination with many of the “retro” inspired lines they are carrying right now! I’m excited to use it, even though a sweet teenage Target employee told me there were lots of “old” ladies looking at these….pretty sure she meant me! Haha!
I got this mint one, but they had lots of other color options you can find here.
Our Annual Glamping Trip
We marked off the last thing on our Summer Bucket List this weekend with our annual “glamping” trip. 13 kids, 10 adults and LOTS of memories made!
The last two years we have visted Jellystone Park in Wichita Falls, TX. There are tons of activities for the kids and the set up of tiny cabins with a central cooking/campfire/hangout spot for our families is just perfect!
Fishing, swimming, mini golf, a giant maze, hayrides, games, chickens, goats, horses, s’mores…my boys look forward to this trip all year long, and it did not disappoint!
Now, raise your hands if you’re ready to make the most of this (short!) week!
Off to wash all the stinky camping clothes…thank you for stopping by!
