Today I’m sharing some simple summer styling tips for your home!
I am also teaming up with some talented bloggers who are sharing their homes as well, in hopes to give you some summer inspiration! If you are popping by from Lindsay’s blog, Aratari At Home, welcome! I loved the pretty tablescape she shared! Be sure to see the other talented bloggers showing their summer style at the bottom of this post!
Welcome Summer!
All are welcome here…..all the sunshine, all the afternoons at the pool, all the adventures… we are ready for you!
One fun way to welcome summer is with a little porch perk-up! A few ferns and flowers that can take the heat will add some color to your porch. I love the layered doormat look look above! I found lots of whimsical, colorful doormats that are very affordable and are a fun way to welcome guests to your home! Just click on any of the images below.
Pops of Color
I am generally a neutral girl, but in the summer I love to add some pops of color! This year I am really crushing on coral!
I added some pops of it to my living room, and I’m loving it!
I always feel like pillows and pillow covers are an easy, inexpensive way to change up a space.
Here are a few fun, affordable pillow and pillow cover options:
Pillows:
I also added some pops of green in the form of faux plants.
I kill ALL the real ones!
I have this fern sitting on our coffee table. Below are a few more faux options that I think are great quality and all under $25….and they will never die!

Ice Cream Cart
I have so much fun decorating this bar cart! One of my boys’ favorite things to do in the summer is to make homemade ice cream!
We have had this ice cream maker for a few years and love it!
I put this cart together at the end of the school year for the boys as a special treat! You can find more details and the free printable sign and tags here.
My Boys’ Bedrooms
I added a few summery touches to my boys’ rooms too!
Fruity Fun
I have shared many times that I love to decorate with fruit….inexpensive decor that you can eat!
For summer, lemons, oranges, grapefruit, and peaches all make for great decor items you can easily grab on your next grocery run!
Summer Bucket List
While I love sharing simple summer styling tips, more than anything, I hope you make memories with your people this summer! I always encourage you to make a bucket list each season! Type it out, write it on a chalkboard, post it on your fridge…..just display it somewhere your family can see it! It is always important to be intentional with your time and have things to look forward to! It doesn’t have to be long or extravagant, just simple things you don’t want to miss!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Be sure to head to Krista at The Happy Housie next! Her home is stunning!
