These cheerio treats are perfect for breakfast or a snack and require only three ingredients!
My boys helped make these this week and they disappeared quickly! These would be perfect for busy mornings to just grab and go or for an after school snacks!
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups of Cheerios-We used Honey Nut Cheerios, but whole grain or Peanut butter would be great too!
3/4 cup of Peanut butter, smooth or crunchy
1/4 cup honey
Also needed: Aluminum foil, non-stick spray
Directions:
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick spray
In a large mixing bowl, measure out cheerios and set aside.
Measure out peanut butter and warm it in a microwave-safe bowl for 30 seconds. Remove it from the microwave and stir in honey until combined well.
Pour your peanut butter honey mixture over your cheerios and stir until cheerios are coated.
Scoop spoonfuls (or we used an ice cream scoop!) of the cheerio mixture onto your baking sheet.
Let sit in the fridge to solidify for about three hours.
Enjoy!
