Hello October!
“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” -Anne of Green Gables
A little computer issue kept this wrap up from going out at the beginning of the week as planned, but no biggie! It’s my FAVORITE month of the year, and we’re just going to smile about that!
My Birthday with my Boos
I ended September by celebrating my 38th birthday! A night out with some girlfriends, the Cowboys game with my hubby, and family birthday dinner at the restaurant my hubby and I lovingly refer to as The Rat….aka Chuck E. Cheese. I know, it’s very fancy…but my boys insisted this was THE place to celebrate your birthday in style, and well, if they’re having fun, that makes my mama heart happy! It was a wonderful birthday, and I’m thankful for another year!
Apple Recipe Roundup
This week I rounded up six simple apple recipes that you really MUST try! They range from easy weeknight meals to sweet treats, but are all super easy and sure to please!

Kendra Scott
I also got to attend a fun blogger event at Kendra Scott this week.
They invited me to come see their new charms line, and it did not disappoint!
My favorite was this Texas charm where half the proceeds from sales are donated to M.D. Anderson for cancer research. All the charms have meanings, but the charms that give back were definitely my favorites. You can see them all here and see the fun feather earrings I snagged here.
Halloween
If you are wanting to add a little spook to your space, I also shared some fun Halloween finds!
You can find them all here.
Pumpkin Pasta
One of my favorite things to do this time of year is take our traditional pasta recipes and replace the tomato based sauce with pumpkin! I made this pumpkin spinach tortellini bake this week, and it was SO good! The pumpkin may sound strange, but I promise it’s worth a try! Even my littles love it!

I hope it has been a wonderful start to a new month, and that the week just keeps getting better!
